Sonic was cool... i played Sonic games on the old Sega Megadrive for years then I woke up saw the light and got a PS1.... knuckles was great as well... I had Sonic and Knuckles as well i think.

yeah knuckles was cool cos he cud glide and climb up walls. what i never under stood was on sonic 3 if u pressed a b or c (to jump) then pressed it again whilst in the air, a lightning flash would happen around sonic for a second. what was that all about? i think sonic is better cos he had the power of super sonic althought tails cud swim n fly :cool:

tails is ok but its different on different levels imo.. i dont mind playing as him on the multiplayer games either if someone else wants to be sonic, also since i was always 2nd player so im used to the bottom of the screen =P

i got all the sonic games for the ps2 today, and read about the games (as i just got home) and @ true blue, there was a box that you jumped on that had a lightning bolt on it, and if you pressed jump twice it would shoot out lightning as a sheild or attack or something =)

super sonic is cool too btw, (yellow sonic). he can run twice or 3 times as fast, jump twice as high and was invinsible ^_^

i didnt mean the box with the lightning, it was when sonic had no force field or ne thing (this is in sonic 3 and sonic n knuckles) if u pressed the jump button 2wice he wud do this lightning thing, what did it do?

Yeah I like knuckles.
The sonic thing when he jumped was a "shield". It was about a split second thing though. When you got a powerup, doing that would activate its effect and that was the only way to becone super sonic in sonic 3.
