it's the links like this xbox gamecube ps2

basicaly Genie put it on to help the site but popups would have been easier coz I can block em but meh if it helps the forum/site running then I guess we just have to put up with it... I myself use IE6 again to view c/d... doesn't freez the page that way.

It freezes my Firefox up as well, but it's not doing it very much lately...

I find those links highlighted very annoying. I use Mozilla on my other computer, it runs smoothly on c/d.

well i dont think i use either*looks around*intellitext, i think i use it damned if i know and yes stale cheese with more cheese is far better than george dubya.

I hate it. Much, much worse than popups. Whenever I see a link in a post, I ususally click it. :mad:

They are green, you would know that it is IntelliTXT.

They help the website out.

it comes up the same colour as a normal link in Firefox, it freezes it aswell. Yeah, as Neto said it helps Genie out with paying for the site and upgrades.

ohhhhhh.... okay. i didn't think anyone else could see that! I thought it was my computer! And even though those things are green,(which is my fav color by the way) i still hate em! They're soooooooooooooo annoying! I hate those things and the little boxes that pop up when you run your mouse over em........ i hate em.

Well It looks like your problem is just the not liking them because of the boxes. Simple answer. Dont drag your mouse over them..

meh Firefox freezes when loading c/d forum pages but thats becuase of the way it's coded to read stuff... I got around this problem the simple way and I view c/d via IE6 even tho it's rubbish...

*offtopic* MS is gunna be makin IE7 when the new windows OS system comes out which i belive will be called longhorn, will have to see how this turns out I guess.
