any one got it yet??? got mine on saturday for 29.99 in tesco....i've done all licenses except the special one (havent been bothered to do it) and a couple of mission (challenges thingy) Lol.....

Hehehe, I've come up with a plan to make me very rich indeed...There's a rally race that I find incredibly easy thanks to my super-fast Nissian Skyline, and if you win Gold for both races, you win a rally car that's worth like 270K...So, I'm constantly winning, clearing my records, winning again, and constantly making loads of money...Heh, I have 300K at the moment. Used to have 500K but I spent like 200K of it tuning up my Skyline, it can't go any faster...(700+ BHP)

hehe nice one LS... haven't baught or tuned any of my cars up yet, I'm just workin through the driving missions because if you finish that you win the Zonda Race Car I think... woot!

Got the feeling tho guys that unless The Driver posts we will be the only 3 on c/d that actualy play the best sim/racing game available!

BTW- LS how do u clear your records and how do u keep the money and car if u clear your records??? and what skyline are you using and what upgrade??

Ive Rented It It Is A Flippin Great Game I Had A TVR Cerbera Speed 12 With 1009 HP And Went 280 MPH And Ive Also Got cA Nissan 350z Tuner The Second Fron Nismo And A Hramotorsports Golf With 600 HP Done All The Major Licences And Begginer And Nearly Pro Events Done All The Easy Special Events Had A Ford GT And The Money Ive Got Now Is About 350,000 CR. I managed to pass Mission 23 (skyline slipstream mission) just workin through the rest of em now and challenging LS to lap time runs in Arcade mode and for someone that says he's not very good went ok me thinks.... 14 laps later and I managed to beat his time but only just! Sent him a test now... got a feeling that I didn't go fast enough lol

same here you get really good cars from doing the rally's.... the cadillac is very nice 760bhp standard...brakes are a bit dodgy though.

Oh yeah, Josh, you wanted to know the specs of my Skyline yeah? Just wrote them down:

Nissan Skyline GT-R '96

Stats - Racing exhaust, racing brakes kit, port polish, engine balencing, displacement, racing chip, NOS, triple clutch, racing flywheel, carbon driveshaft, original turbine kit, sports intercooler and weight reduction stages 1, 2 and 3. With all of this, this gives the skyline a power of 729BHP, and a maximum speed of 207mph.

Also, to clear your records and keep the car and money, when you get all gold on all the races in the competition you are entering, enter it again and pick a race. Before you begin the race, the game should ask you if you want to clear your records or not. Clear them, and you keep all the money and the car you won by getting all gold before. If you get all gold again, you will get another of the same prize car!

^ Heh, yeah I had a TVR like that when I was messing around a few days ago. Is it that orange one at the end of the selection list in the TVR store? I had that one, I got it tunes up to like a 1000BHP. Although, I just didn't like it for some reason. Can't explain why, there was something about it...I prefer my Skyline, even though it's not as fast.

Yeah I Didnt Use It Much But It Had A Spoiler On It The Last Black One. But Now I Use My Nismo Tuned 350Z Second In Nismo 155,000cr I Thnk Im Correct And A Hramotorsports Golf I Use For rallyin. Im Was Saving Up For An Audi Race Car Not The TT The Other One The A4 Or A6. I Had A Ford GT Aswell I Used In The MR And Tuner Cup.

ok cheers mate...btw what rally do you do to have the 300k car??? im doing quite well now on rally done all the easy and normal difficulty ones.

Erm, I can't remember what it's called. But it's the second one down on the list in the Special Conditions thing. The title for the rally's got a blue background...If you win both races in this, you'll get this Toyota rally car worth about 265K...The car itself is very good, but I've got better cars so I just sell the rally car for loads of money...

meh Forza is meant to be the Xbox answer to GT4 but I doubt it very much... heck I still gunna get the game but here are a few hidden buttons from within GT4.

On the main Gran Turismo Mode screen, press L1 to jump the cursor to Home, and press R1 to jump the cursor to the country of your vehicle's manufacturer.

When looking at your garage in Home, press START to bring up the vehicle settings screen.

When changing your vehicle's settings, press START to enlarge the Engine Power/Torque curve.

At the end of a series race, press START to skip the finish times and championship points screens.

During a replay, press L3 to fast-forward.

During a pit stop, press X to to stop refueling, letting you get out of the stop faster.

The Black Cars:
On the last week of the changing cycle--starting day 694--four secret black race cars appear in the showrooms. Two of the cars are in the Used Car Showroom I and the other two are in Showroom II, and they only appear for one week (Gran Turismo time). All four cars can be purchased for about Cr.8,500,000 total, which is an absolute bargain for these sort of race cars.

by any chance has anyone heard of the game Forza Motorsports for Xbox, im not really an Xbox fan but they did something right making this game, compared to GT4 it is much faster. GT4's physics engine recalculates 60 times per second while Forza's runs at 240, thats 4 times as fast. even though the gt series is the ultimate simulator, it doesnt come close to the simulation of Forza, im not putting down GT4 because it is a helluva game in the end, but this game blew my mind when i first played it, what do other people think about it if they have heard about it? :D

ya sorry about that, didnt know where to go to get xbox forum, but i found it, and yes it does ahve the graphics of every single car, ive looked into it and ever centimeter of every car is exactly like the real car, or atleast thats what they say, i didnt look over each car, but youre right of topic, i shall write this in the xbox forum

why does everyone take "the real driving simulator" so seriously, in my opinion they shouldnt even be able to put that on games because no matter how detailed the game is you couldnt get better in real life by playing the game, it doesnt work that way unfortunately, cant wait till i get some spare change to buy GT4 though

All depends on the car ya using really... I did the 200mile (90 laps) endro race in the GT40 Road Car Concept which I won somtime during the game, dunno how long that took but the last lap seemed to drag on for ages lol... ran out of Gas, must have been running on fumes lol meh clocked the fastest lap tho coz the car seemed to be lighter :D :eek:

Tokyo next for me... prob use the Subaru race car I won a while back or the 350z race car which I also won lol

Ehh, it's all about the satisfaction of getting 100% in the game really...It'd take an age to get every single car though. Havn't played GT4 for a while actually, just been busy with other stuff...

GT4 does have 700 cars but most of them I wouldn't even think about driving or keeping + how many versions of 1 skyline do we need? :P Dont get me wrong I like the game but a few of the older tracks from GT1 and 2 would have been nice to see... like Red Rock Valley from GT2... meh happy the special satge route 11 didn't make it 2 gt4 tho lol... man I hate that track on GT3

got a few questions, first, how many cars can your garage hold?, second, what is the best car to use for the expert hall?, all the cars i already own dont handle worth crap but can go quite fast, third, do you get anything for 75% completion?

Carn't help ya with what the best car could be as I'm not that far in the game...
However as far as I know I don't think ya get any car for 75% completion...

it only seems fair ya get something at 75%, ya got somethign at 25% and 50%, does anyone know how many cars your garage can hold, i figured out a very good car to use for expert hall, its the Nissan R92 race car that you can get for half the normal price in the used car showroom on a certain day, it also is black, so that is cool, work quite well, doesnt roam the road at high speeds

if just starting out, a tip for continually winning races would be to complete all the special condition events then saving up the money from that, work your way up to 25%, buy a decent car, id suggest the Nissan R92 Race Car fully modified, enter the Nubergring 24 hour endurance, put it on b spec and just let it race itself for the 24 hours, when completed, youll receive a formula 1 car, which wil make it easy to complete other races

sorry for the double post, does anyone have any tips for getting gold and silver in the license tests, also is there an easier way to do the missions, i can never pass the first placed guy, please write back as soon as possible

Driver faster? lol no doesn't help does it.... meh there isn't an easy way at all and I'm still stuck on the very last driving mission :( Not tried it for a while but might try again today seening as Ive been doin many many laps around the Nurb ring in the BMW3... need to buy the same SLK tho to really test how far I can push it!

update, I passed that last driving mission.... PAWNAGE! lol Hardest race I've ever had to do... next up is do the 24Hour race at the Nurb ring anf get me the F1 car :D... I would let Bspec bob do the work but I dont trust him enough yet >.<

lucky guy, just get a fast car with full downforce to do it on b spec, cant lose, put it on 3 with overtake and your set and hard tires

don't get mad at me for bringin this old thread back, but i didn't want to make another one.

i started playing GT4 3 weeks ago and i have round 50 cars, trying to win, i mean buy a super car. $4.5M only got $3 M to go. i want to do that last champion ship in professional league so bad, but my AMG mercedas CLK-GTR isn't fast enough, i misseribly failed on the 3rd race. so i was like. FORGET THAT. lol. so i've been doing the rally race and getting that $265 grand car and selling it. i'll post my favorite cars specs later on and a rather large post bout the cars i have.
