Info on Pokémon Emerald

I'll give you guys some info. It'll be good too. Ok. I'll get this started. If anyone else has any info too,you can post too.

This game will come out on May 1,2005. I think most of us know this but,its a remake of Ruby/Sapphire. Sorta like Fire Red/Leaf Green are remakes of Red/Blue. There is something new. There are 7 places you can go to. They're called Battle Pike,Battle Arena,Battle Factory,Battle Dome,Battle Tower,Battle Pyramid,and Battle Palace. You'll get a Frontier Symbol if you win against the leader. You can trade Pokémon with Fire Red,Leaf Green,and Colosseum.

If anyone has info,just post it. I'll try and get more.

In Emerald you start out same as ruby and sapphire, not much is actualy diffrent.but there are 4 on 4 battles and small changes its a the remake of ruby and sapphire just like fire red and leaf green. :)

@blaziken-It comes out May 1,2005. I've reserved the game already. It might come out in April where you're at.

Anyway,anyone else have info on Pokemon Emerald. Neto should. I'm surprized he hasn't seen this thread yet.

I've seen it, but there isn't much to say about the game.

-Pokémon sprite animations
-Few graphic enhancements
-Battle Frontier
-You may capture Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza
-You get to choose between Latias and Latios
-Different Champion
-Navel Rock, Birth Island, and World Edge Islands included

Actually, she's right. May 1st. Are the battle frontiers like 2nd gyms, since you get those symbols?

i found on gamefaqs.com that you get a cell phone again in this game but this time around it will be useful, useful to the point you can call up gym leaders you've already beaten for a rematch some of them even will do a 2vs2 battle with you, after a while too they can start getting more of the original pokemon for their teams as well

Anyone know if you can trade with Ruby/Sapphire/FR/LG outright or must you get the national dex first? I assume you can trade with Ruby/Sapphire but you can't trade with FR/LG until you receive the national dex.

I am pretty sure, although I haven't tried that it can trade with Ruby and Sapphire, but not with Leaf Green/ Fire Red until it has a National Dex and the long distance trade link running.

gamefaqs also says that once you complete the hoenn pokedex prof. birch offers you one of the starters from the g/s/c era

Yes, I read the same. When you have 200 Pok'emon on your Hoenn Dex, he'll give you a National Dex (or so I here) and then offers you one out of: Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile. Totodile is the best of them I reckon!!!

It is not a rumor. The Deoxys found in Emerald is in its speed form.

When somebody says rumor it can mean someone has simply heard something about it. I am not saying it is untrue, I didn't say it was true either. I was just asking because I haden't heard about it.

To Blaziken, I have never posted a picture, ask vipershark, he will know because I'm pretty sure that I saw one of his earlier!!! If you can save the pic on your computer there is an option on the cheatingdome toolbar just under where it says size and colour. That might work to add it!!!
