if you have 2 computers in a network and one of the computers is going to be kicked off the isp, do both computers go off it or just that one?

and do the 2 computers share a ip number? o_O

I think it depends on how you're connected to the internet. Router or just through both on a modem?

It depends whats actually going to happen to your ISP. If your cutting the ocnnection on one computer, the modem will still be open to the other. An ADSL router is basically the same as a modem, but it allows multiple IP's to connect through it. You probably know that the ISP is to do with your phone line, so if you stop the ISP altogether, then yeah, both pc's get cut. It depends how the internet is being ' stopped' from one pc... I'm gonna stop talking, coz i can go on forever about wireless internet and networking....

my brother said the same thing as pixels and thus i think its just going to be that one computer.. dads computer >_O
hes going to go insane but thats no different from usual :P

im sure youll find out if the internet just gets cut off since i wont be able to make it on here.. heh..
