RCT1 Installing Issues

I recently got Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 Gold Edition (yeah, i know there're better versions, but I like this one) and did the minimal install on my comp of the original game. Now, when I went to install the seond disc (the first expansion, Loopy Landscapes , it will not allow me to, blaming it on the fact I use WinXP. It says that, if it even accepts the install, the game won't run for more than 15 minutes without shutting down. What's the best way to make it work, without changing from WinXP?

Also, hoping for some luck (since it says it has LL on it anyway), I tried to install Corkscrew Follies; it didn't even recognize that there was a disc.

I bought it new, so it shouldn't be disc error. Thanks in advance :)

this is odd but um, did you try to run it? You might want to check on their website for a fix or on some of their own forums for technical support as I'm sure you're not the only one with the problem and they might have a patch for it.

Yeah, I tried running it, and it didn't recognize that there was a cd in the drive. I'll check the site, and I'll see what they say about installing the first expansion as well. Thanks.
