Yes, I finally received the game, but I was rather disappointed, even though I knew the game was a fake.

I received and tested the game. It did work, however, it was not how I thought it would be. This is not the average Pok'emon Gameboy Advance game. It was a hacked and edited Kirby game. To elaborate on that, the backgrounds were similar. Also, the Kirby game enemies had been altered, Waddle Dees were Jigglypuffs and some weird nipping enemies were changed into Krabbys. Also the 'Ball' enemies had been changed into bouncing Electrodes.

Yes, you guessed it! Pok'emon Blue Diamond Version is nothing more than a 2D Pikachu adventure game with a poor Blastoise boss at the end. The start menu doesn't work either. In fact, when you push start, Pikachu freezes and then you can make the Pikachu fly by using the direction buttons. Pressing start again stops this effect.

The back of the box is particularly funny. On the back, it describes how your journey begins and about the Pok'emon. That whole text had been copied from the back of a Pok'emon Red Version box. If you want to know about how I figured this out, ask. The back of the box was obviously laser printed. Even the bar code was laser printed, lol.

The grammar in the (very short) instruction booklet was also amusing. For example, no spaces are left between full stops (periods) and new sentences, there are rarely capital letters at the beginning of sentences and the spelling was atrocious!!!

Here is my rating:

Graphics: 2/10 (very poor)
Gameplay: 2/10 (very poor)
Sound: 2/10 (very poor)
All Up: 3/10 (sympathy)

I will leave negative feedback for the seller.

Thanks,
HRBEK.

People like him cannot be allowed to circulate any more of these cartridges. Though I must admit, it does feel good to be the only one here with Blue Diamond Version, lol. I will scan some pages from the Instruction Booklet soon.

Thanks,

Lol, that Instruction Booklet is one of the most pathetic pieces of crap I've seen, lol. That Instruction Booklet gives the game away. You know that it is fake before you play it, lol.

Thanks,

I've seen worse. There was a game that was a hacked version of a GB speedy gonzales game. It was a sonic hack. Someone hacked the sonic game and put pikachu in instead. Pikachu could spindash and stuff. Then there was one called super pika land. It was a hack of super mario land for the GB. Pikachu turned into raichu and the fire flower let him shoot electricity. But i've seen way worse than that.

The quality would be poor. Even more so than the game, lol. I tried to attach a scanned image of the Instruction Booklet but it was too large in size.

Thanks,
HRBEK.
