help evolving my eevee

hi
i am trying to evolve my eevee into an umbreon and it wont
i kno it evolves on friendship, but it is at level 70 and i want it to evolve soon
PLEASE post anything that might help

Whenever it has lost health, give it Berries and Potions. Rare Candies are loved by the Pok'emon as well. To get an Umbreon it must be night time. My Golbat evolved into Crobat on Lv78 so don't be worried.

What game do you have it for? If you buy about ten vitamin items (for an Umbreon, I'd recommend Calcium and Iron) and give them to Umbreon (if he/she is still able to take that), that should up its happiness greatly. Just keep it from fainting and battle with it as much as possible.

also try making it hold the item soothe bell, it doubles the happiness points :)

Most items (except for the bitter ones), increase Pok'emon happiness. You will have your Umbreon in no time. Pok'eblocks have a similar effect.

if you have more than 100 effort points already on that pokemon it won't accept any vitamins, remember each vitamin "calcium, iron etc" give ten points out of a maximum 510 to your pokemon, but the problem with vitamins is that they can only be used up to 100 points :(


anyway if its still not evolving, try the soothe bell it should speed matters along.

Go to Lilycove for the Vitamins. You need to collect enough sand near Fallarbor Town and give it to the man in the hut between the routes. He will make one for you if you pay him enough.

I think, at least. My memory could be failing me. :P

Yeah, it is. If you trade your Eevee over, however, it will lose its happiness, no? Therefore you will waste a lot of time altogether trying to raise it back up.

if you follow this advice it will never evolve into umbreon, your tameness "hapiness" needs to be above 220 on the next level up, everytime you trade a pokemon it resets to its base tameness value, for eevee that is 70.


carry on as you are and you will soon have umbreon, if you level up and it turns into espeon just cancel evolution and wait for nightfall then it will evolve into umbreon :)

yes that does help :) on one website " i forget which" it tells you what activities promote or decrease happiness, fainting does, using herbs as apposed to hyper potions etc does.

keeping pokemon in a box, allowing it to get status conditions, keeping it in the red DO NOT decrease happiness, its a common misconception that they do.


ps. also allow it to travel in your first spot, also major battle "elite four" adds more to the happiness than standard trainer battles

i sugested E4 only because you gain tamness points there, or at a moe accelerated rate.

Try not to double post, please. Have you gone to check it's level of happiness? I am almost certain that an Eevee cannot evolve into an Umbreon or Espeon in Fire Red, that's why in the upcoming Pokémon XD game two new items were created in order to make this happen.

ive have had an eevee turn into an umbreon/espeon whilst in Fr/Lg

all i can think is that before you training you must of put your eevee into the negative scale on the happiness meter, thats the only reason i can think of that would of stopped it evolving.

bare in mind though i used Pokemon Maker to create an eevee with a happiness rating of 255 "maximum"

you need at least 220 to evolve an eevee.

Heres a Cheat code I put on CheatingDome, it will make happy evolution more simple. :)


For a pokemon that evolves by happiness you need 225 points. If you catch a pokemon by a friend ball it gains 200 points, if its another ball like a great ball you gain 70 points. Every 520 steps it gains 1 point. For every status UP item used on it, like carbos it gains 2 points. For every new level it gains either 3 points or 5 points. Every time Blue's sisiter grooms your pokemon it gains 3 points.

The underground hair cut brothers, the older brother.($500) 1,3,5 points depends on how happy the pokemon seems.

The younger brother.($300) 1,3,10 points depends on how happy it looks.

Happiness can go down to.

pokemon faints: -1 point
If Heal powder, Energy Powder, Energy Root is used: -5 points

Maby evee will only evolve in firered/leafgreen versions if they gain experience from fighting maby giving them items just doesnt work
rare candys do not raise any pokemon attack etc. as high as they would if they were used in a fight ????? maby the amount of attack or defence deturmines whether they evolve into espeon or umbreon and maby if you max out its stats it will evolve

no Ev is entirely seperate from happiness, rare candies just alter the level of the pokemon whilst keeping all EV points status quo, if it would of evolved it would of evolved, i think [N]eto, HRBEK must of been correct in stating that evolution into umbreon/espeon is not possible in Fr Lg

having iron, carbos, etc. will better help you out with tyrogue. if i remember from gold/silver/crystal (sorry, haven't bothered updating to the newer ones), if attack is greater than defense at lvl 20, becomes hitmonchan (the puncher). if defense is greater, hitmonlee (the kicker). if they are exactly the same, it becomes a hitmontop (the spinner). i believe this is the only way to get a hitmontop in g/s/c.




BTW, i loved the day/night feature. Why in the world did they remove it? too many kids complained that they couldn't get the cool night pokemon? lol

MORSN417 Eevee evolves when you trade the Eevee to a Saphire, Ruby, or an Emerald when it is night time (6:00 P.M. or later) and Gary's sister says the Eevee can't love you any more or something like that. Also I solled my Crystal to an EB games for Emerald. I regret it.
