Who Intends To Purchase A Playstation 3

It won't drop by too much. The Playstation 3 will not drop (in my mind) for maybe 2 years at least. There aren't many ways for this system to be beaten. It is better than the X-Box 360 and the Nintendo Revolution. I could be wrong though.

I have to vote no on this... I don't do much gaming at all anymore, Last games I bought were Burnout 3 and snake eater, and I only play them about once a week... I'm just not that interested in them anymore

I'll eventually get one but not right when it comes out. I remember I didn't get PS2 till like year and a half after it'd been released. I know I'll porbably get PS3 soner than that though. Once we get one we might sell the PS2. That's what we did with our PS.

I was very happy with my PS2, i'll probably wait for a year as well because its going to be expensive with all that top of the line hardware. That and i want to see what type of games come out for all the consoles.

I played with Nintendo up to N64, I didn't buy the Cube (thank god)

All depends on the games..not the graphics, thats how I buy my consoles.

The very main reason I wont buy one of the very first ones is because there could be a fault resulting in a company recall to get em fixed for free... The first patch of PS2's had a few hardware problems so I held off buying one and I think I should have held off another week as the price droped so much that it was like half price >.< I'll be doin the same with the Xbox 360 just incase some problem becomes apparnt.. hopfully there wont be any problmes apart from the price tage lol

sony has an army of game developers. that is a huge advantage. besides because of the 2 tflops and 54gbite discs, ps3 will have better graphics.

yeah not only does the PS3 have more power than the 360 and the revolution

but after microsoft announced that they were coming out with the "core" system for the XboX 360 and the "premium" system people are pretty pissed at microsoft 4 that.

BTW for those that dont know the core system for the XboX 360 only cost 299.99 but DOESNT have the 360 harddrive OR wireless controllers

Premium costs 399.99 and has a hard drive and controllers

even though microsoft stated that they would be releasing one version of the xbox 360 and that it WOULD have the harddrive.

I seem to recall me saying some months ago that 2 version of the Xbox 360 would be put out... one with and one without a HardDrive. I just never knew what else would or would not be included.

Anyway enough Xbox stuff, I saw yesterday a mag called Play that has up and coming game news ect but on the front it said PS3 can play PC games.... Play mag isn't one of the best around so I got feeling it ain't true seening as no other mag seems to have reported it or web site for that matter.
