I'm Disappointed. They messed up the controls! You have to hold the Y button to run! That sucks.

u always had 2 hold down a button 2 run in mario platform games.

Hey,vipershark,you might've bought it used or something. The people who had it last,screw up games. All you gotta do is go to the start menu,click on the controls,and put it to however you want it! Oh,yeah,you can run with the Touch Screen too. And if the help thread made by me is still here,could ya use it?

no he means that the makers of the game screwed up the port to the DS coz the controls are different to the N64....i think :rolledeye

In Mario 64 you can run without holding down any buttons because it had a JOYSTICK.

DS your using a Dpad.

u dont hav to hold the y button u can just walk and he will start running on his own

exactly. they made it so you'd want to use the touchscreen. not with a game like that. (well, except for the minigames, they're fun.) but i like using the d-pad better.
