m, i tried a baton passers thread some months ago and it had a minimal responce, does anyone use baton passers anymore?


if you do which are the best?

baton pass is learned by a few pokemon, it allows the user to switch out to another pokemon with any stat increases it may have gained "or lost"

ok lets say for instance you have a shuckle with megahorn and rock slide, i know this is a silly example but go with me.

on its own shuckle wouldn't have the offensive capoabilities to actually use those moves to any great effect,

now imagine if you had a 5th move that was sword dance, lets say you maxed ur sword dance out, suddenly shuckle would hit pretty hard and be offensively fairly dangerous.

in essence this is what baton pass does, it allows you to switch to a new pokemon but let that pokemon keep any stat increases.

so my Mawile has sword danced and baton passed to shuckle, now it is as if shuckle has sword danced.

of course there are many thigns that can be baton passed, accuracy, defences even critical hit ratio highteners by the way of focus energy/dire hit.
