hmm, I've seen footage of this game already on TV... it's basicaly what was known as a cyberpet in the UK... lol I had one of em! Yes I was sad but at least I never got into the pokemon crazy............

its called nintendogs. you use all of the DS's functions like the microphone and the touch screen to pat your pet. the mic. is for voicing commands and stuff and training your dogs. i think it looks like a lot of fun.

An irish Wolfhound wouold be more to my liking..As big as they are there pretty nice...
Anyway yeah this game looks like a lot of fun..It seems to be like a "Deeper" version or the tamagotchi..
If done right this could be a good bit of fun imo.

IMO it would be good to see it consist of some minigames..Like blow into the mic to dry your dog after washing it or somthing of the like lol.

chihuahua:shetland sheepdog,german shepard, yorkshire terrier,cavalier king charles spaniel,boxer, chihuahua.

Dachsun:golden retriever,siberian husky, pug,shih tzu (or **** zu) beagle, mini dachsun

Labrador(thats the one i have): mini schnauzer, shiba inu, toy poodle, mini pinscher, pembroke welsh corgi, labrador retriever.

each dog comes in three colors. black white and brown. sometimes its just different shades of brown. also each dog has a different personality, making it easier or harder to train, more energetic or lazier and so on. if when you click on a breed and the dont have the right color, gender or personality (or any of these combinations) just go back to the breed selector and choose that breed again. it will be different each time.
also some good tips for the game:

Dog walking

-walking your dog often will help it build stamina so you can go on longer walks and get to more places.
-when your dog pees while walking a blue dot will appear. it will most likely pee there again on your next walk. i think its faramones. each time it pees there the blue dot gets bigger dont ask me what this means.
-To make your dog walk faster touch the leash, pull it slowly towards the middle of the screen, then jerk it to the right side. the dog will jump.
-A drum beat usually signals that your dog is gonna go. it could also mean that the dog is sniffing where it went earlier.
-You have to wait 25 minutes or so in between each walk.
- the question marks on the map are either items your dog gives to you or people with info pointless info. walk through all of them that you can.

Agility

-keep tapping the tunnels in little intervals of distance to help your dog get through.
-click on the jump bars to highlight them. when your dog runs up to it and the camera zooms in. Click on the opposite side of the bar repeatedly to help your dog jump over.
-Agility contests pay in between frisbee and trick contests, but its pretty easy to learn. I got first place in the beginner agility contest after like 10 minutes at the gymnasium.

ill post more info if you want (Chapter 2 on request). the manual is kind of lacking. i guess most of this stuff is pretty self explanitory. but whatever.

its much easier. ok now heres useful info chapter 2! yay!

Training:
Simple Tricks
- To teach "shake" hold the stylus on the dogs foot and pull up.
- To teach "high five" lift up your dogs foot again but raise it higher.
- To teach "run in circles" grab your dogs tail and wiggle it around a bit
- To teach "Do the wave" make your dog sit, touch his head and pull up ( i think that was it)

Advanced tricks (I haven't tried any of these tricks so i don't know much about them. But don't pet your After each prepratory trick or it'll think its done)
-"break dance": dog spins around on his back
must know: run in circles
prep tricks: have your dog lie down then keep having him roll over until he's on his back.
to do trick: while on his back, tell your dog to run in circles. if it works he should spin on his back like he's break dancing.
-Backflip
Must know: jump
prep tricks: make your dog sit
to do trick: one he's sitting tell your dog to jump. it it's dont right he should do a backflip.

remember not to pet your dog after making him sit or roll over or he may think that the trick is done.
