I don't want to overeact but I need Latias! I can't find it! I caught it like 1000 times before but I started again and I can't get it! Any tips please! Oh, and I've been stuck on Wattson for weeks on Ruby. Which pokemon is super effective against his magnemites. All my pokemon are like level 30 already but I can't get past!

i dont know what to tell you about latias, but for the magnamites they are weak aginst fire. if you cant get a fire type, electric does little damage to a GRASS type.

forget that use ground, that way his electric attack won't even hit you! so zero chance of paralysis, also ground type are 400% effective against steel/electric type.

yes thats true, but you forget that Wattson's magnamites have the ability "levitate", makeing ground type attacks miss every time. and aginst popular belife, rock types are not fully resistent aginst electric attacks. rock is in fact weak aginst steel. also try useing fighting.

Fire and Fighting would be your best bets because, as already mentioned, Magnemite has Levitate, thus making Ground moves miss. Although, one Ground Pokémon wouldn't hurt.

Magnemite can levitate but doesnt have the ability, quit retartred in fact...it has magnetic pull or sturdy. Get aaron with mud slash, or Marshstomp with mud shot. Combusken with double kick to.

Uhm, an Electric Pokémon with Levitate would be the only Pokémon without a weakness.

No, Magnemite would still be weak to Fighting.

assuming that you saved your master ball for Latias(because hes your fav) but then why would you have a promblem catching him then? Get a Goldbat to level 45 and teach it mean look, and stock up on ultra balls. 1000 times...just do what you did the past 1000 times..=p

Yeah Magnemite can only have the abilities: Sturdy and Magnet Pull if I recall.

The only one is Torchic at the start. Other than that, there is the rock and ground Pokemon in Verdanturf Tunnel

search in the tunnel connecting verdanturf and rustboro for geodudes, catch them and evolve them into Gravelers, Golems if possible, it'd be good if they knew Earthquake too but they don't need to

It seems to me like you just restarted your game, and obviously you're not going to find Latias until after you beat the Elite Four.

No! Im trying to beat Watson on Ruby and finding Latias on Sapphire! 2 different games! I cant use rock smash to get geodude I cant beat Watson to have it and I need it to beat him. Lol, tonguetwister

oh i seeeeee, well what im about to tell you is technically crap "as latios has the same chances of appearing on any route" but i have caught more lati@s on the grassy patch just left of lilycove, lol it may be worth a try.

lol I caught Latias loooads of times in Lilycove. But what about the Watsson problem on ruby?

have you more than one GBA? if so trade over a highish level rydon, with lightning rod, is it a doubles battle ? i forget i have't played ruby/sapphire for ages.

if i remember correctly watson uses magnemites, voltorbs. These will come down nicely with a magnitude/EQ or two.

If you have a rock type pokemon, Don't even try Magnitude, or Earthquake, or dig. I defeated wattson with a leaf type pokemon, Oddish. Just put Wattson's pokemon to sleep and whip their butt, if they wake up, use Sleep powder again, and carry lots os Super potions. To catch Lati@s the easiest way, Take an acro bike and tons of repels, Go out into a patch of grass just outside of cycling road and between Mauville City. Put a Lv.40 pokemon in front of your party and put on some Repels, then, keep jumping around the patch of grass until the Repel wears off, then, go inside the clycling road house and out and repeat the steps. You'll find Lati2s in no time. By the way, I caught my Latios like that.
