Hello,

We appreciate the opportunity to respond. It appears that you may have
purchased an unauthorized counterfeit Nintendo product.

A counterfeit product is an illegal copy of an authentic Nintendo game.
These counterfeit goods often originate from Taiwan, Hong Kong or
Singapore and are not authorized or approved by Nintendo. The production,
importation or sale of counterfeit goods is illegal and Nintendo has
brought many legal actions worldwide to attempt to stop counterfeiters.
Counterfeit goods can often be recognized from a careful inspection of
the goods. Please note that Nintendo does not replace or refund
counterfeit products.

If you have purchased a counterfeit product and believe that you were
misled or otherwise sold unlawful goods, we suggest that you contact the
retailer from whom you purchased the product. We have enclosed some
information about spotting counterfeit and unauthorized Nintendo products
that you may find useful. If for some reason you're unable to read the
attached file, send us a request for hard copies with your complete
postal address (include your original e-mail and this response).

Thank you again for your e-mail. Rest assured that we have forwarded
the information you reported to the appropriate departments within
Nintendo for further review. We appreciate your interest in Nintendo
products.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.
John Elsberry

Yeah, fakes pop up quite often on Ebay. Only buy stuff from official sites and gameing stores.
Also, all pokemon games are color coded, if you Emerald is in a black cart then its definately fake.

And don't forget...

FireRed-Red
LeafGreen-Green

If ya get a fake, take it back and then call the cops. Only buy from offcial gaming stores, like Electronics Boutique and Game Crazy,or any other gaming store where ya live/like.

And when you get a fake from Ebay, report the seller to Ebay and tell them about the cartridge.

Thanks,
