I've entered them before.
I think I will start playing my Ruby version again and actually beat the game completely. I got bored of it after having to restart it a couple of times, and never getting the right Pokémon with the proper EV training. Plus, it's extremely time consuming, as well as being able to get specially Contest-trained Pokémon and the right Pokéblocks makes it twice as tough.
Oh, and especially when you don't have a cheating device to aid you. :P

I have won the Master-Rank in every competition (Smart, Beauty, etc) with my Rayquaza. Not a hacked one either, lol.
Thanks,
HRBEK.

lol i couldn't agree more [n]eto lol, its less of a game and more of a vocation isnt it? lol
on the plus side i do liek emerald i think it has a number of usefull features which make it superior to its predesessors "R/S"
for example breeding pokemon is a hell of a lot easie rnow with the magma armour, flame body trick.

And the fact that you can breed for certain natures, too.

It is very rare that I breed now. I have no need to. I did however, discover that breeding a Shining Pok'emon with a regular one makes the possibility of a Shining Baby rise. A lot of people say that is untrue. I obtained 21 'real' Shining Pok'emon like that.
Thanks,
HRBEK.
