Stat limits

Are they stat limits in emerald? i mean to say for example if i were to agility would the maximum it could reach be 999?

i have heard some forums saying yes, however i tried an experiment involving a ninjask and a speed deoxys, i agilitied them both out to max, and deoxys would strike first everytime.

surely if they both hit their ceiling of 999 then i would expect them to alternate to some degree as to who struck first?

if anyone has any info on this i would like to know.

Perhaps at that point in time, in order to fix this little issue, they look at the Pokémon with the higher base speed stat and go from there, allowing it to attack first. Then again, what Deoxys form were you using? Speed, correct?

I heard something about how attacks that raise stats go up in 50% every one level. It can go up to 300% more ability.

Some can raise the stat by 50%, others can raise it much faster and efficiently. Some are supposed to raise the stat by 100%. I think Agility is one of them.

Because agility raises it up 2 levels which mean it goes up 100% or twice as fast. Bellydrum makes it max of course, I'm sorry its 400% instead of 300% because you start out with 100%. Very confusing, It was on this site that you metioned earlier [N]eto.

i think ill do an investigation and try and get an attack beyond 999, then ill attack a shuckle and work out if the damage it caused could of been made by a pokemon with an attack in excess of 999.

I think my Speed-Deoxys has a Speed of 455. I will check later.
