If your immature enough not to see how serious this topic is than please, leave it be.

Whats interesting is how they can revive 3 hours post mortem, even after the joints freeze up. Maybe its just the blood circualtion? But what kills me is this;

During the procedure blood is replaced with saline solution at a few degrees above zero. The dogs' body temperature drops to only 7C, compared with the usual 37C, inducing a state of hypothermia before death.

Although the animals are clinically dead, their tissues and organs are perfectly preserved.

Damaged blood vessels and tissues can then be repaired via surgery. The dogs are brought back to life by returning the blood to their bodies, giving them 100 per cent oxygen and applying electric shocks to restart their hearts.

Tests show they are perfectly normal, with no brain damage.

"The results are stunning. I think in 10 years we will be able to prevent death in a certain segment of those using this technology," said one US battlefield doctor.

How is it even possible, how would that re-pump the heart, it must take more than that!

And Human testing, would you want to wake up after being drained of blood, than re-pumped? I think not!

Vipershark

Who knows, I guess people that want to live longer. Die get the procedure, die again, get the procedure again and so on. You could live forever.

It must be so much more difficult with humans, though, as you must remember that any blood given to you must be of the same blood-type as you are, under any circumstance.

Technology is advancing soon the only certainty in life; that being death, will no longer be certain as no doubt through the years it may become possible to live forever, in an extreme case.

I find it to be extremely doubtful, because although one may be revived from death, it is uncertain that one will be able to retain their youth. I, for one, would rather die than live forever as a walking skeleton, or one stuck on a bed.

So what your saying is that in the very yet far future, there will be no death?...

That is what Dayle is trying to say, but I find this absolutely doubtful. Besides, there needs to be death, otherwise we will have a dead planet with trillions of inhabitants.

DayleJ

they bring the dead back by repairing and rebuilding dead tissues and blood vessels so they would rebuild more of the body and in such an extreme case anything that causes to be so old. you make it is doubtful but i think with the advance of technology i can see it being very possible and very real. obviously its humane and would have one hell of an effect on the population but that doesn't mean it can't be done. they can clone already...next step is to re-build.

Alright, let me rephrase myself. Yes, you may be able to retain some sort of youth, but to live forever? I find that hard to believe, and even harder to believe that our governments would allow something like this to be used by just anyone, unless, of course, you offer quite a nice amount of money, otherwise we will have a world with absolutely no resources left because humanity decided to destroy itself by defying the laws of life.

But then again..it could help the people who loved a person who died...and..yeah..

What about a brain transplant? Basically becoming an AI? You can become part of a robot, and put all the sensors on it. That would be basically youth plus wisdom, though a few pleasures would still be gone. ;)
