Hopefully this was'nt posted before....

At the Game Conference in Liepzig, Germany(Aug 18-21)


From the xbox 360 campus party in Spain last week, in a private speak after the conference with Mr xxxxx.
He confirm that the price and content of the xbox360 will be reveled at the Game conference in liepzig germany (18.8 to 21.8 2005) and also new games.

Also he reveled somethings interesting:

That Square is not only developping FF11.
The fan of the xbox360 will be variable, and during playing movie will be very quiet less noise than the actual xbox.
It possible to Turn "ON" the xbox360 with the controller.
Videochat whit 8 people with minigames
The xbox 360 will come with a hd cable with a adaptor for normal TV.

The Inquirer and TotalVideogames claim that Wal-Mart employees apparently have leaked the launch date and price of the Xbox 360. According to these reports, the Xbox 360 will retail for $299 and the launch will be Friday, November 4th.

The rumored price sounds likely to be true since it is the same price of the original Xbox when it launched back on November 15th of 2001. However, the Nov. 4th date sounds a bit odd being that it takes place on a Friday; not typically strong “launch day” for retailers. Being that the first Xbox launched on the third Thursday of November and just before the Thanksgiving holiday, a date of November 10th or November 17th seems more likely for the Xbox 360 launch, but again, this is purely speculation....

It was already revield in a press conference. Scince the PS3 is going to be about 550$ The 360 was Raised to be about 400$ with taxes and such it will ring up to about 500$dollars. ill find the link to the site. But i wouldnt trust The Inquierer Its a total Shlapskie magazene.

ah but I didn't get it straight from that mag ;)
As for a UK price a lad at our local Game told me they had a hint of juts £200.... I looked at him as if to say... bull$h!t dude and he didn't say it back but hinted that he agreed with me lol

The PS2 in the UK was £400 and the Xbox was a little more expensive than that.
