Chapter one
Pallet to Viridian to Pewter
Chris was walking to the building. The doors of it were huge. The building was huge too. He went in. There were loads of floors here. Chris took out a piece of parchment. It read: Office 3b. He went up three fleets of stairs. Finally, he found the office. He knocked on the door. "Come in,” said the voice. Chris went in. "Hi, Giovanni" said Chris, sitting down before the man, Giovanni behind his desk. "So you have come of age one week ago" he murmured. "You must sign in this Form,” he said, pointing to a piece of paper and a pen. Chris put in his details:
Name: Christopher
Surname: Higgins
Age: 18
"Now you must show me your Passport,” he added. "Fine", sighed Chris. He gave his passport to Giovanni. He looked at it, and then handed it back to Chris. "So why do you want to join Team Rocket?", he asked Chris. Chris told him and he spoke again. "Your first mission, Chris is to find me some..."
Dan Smith was walking to Viridian City with his friends, Grubbs and Derek. They walked to the Gym of Viridian. "Closed,” sighed Grubbs. "Now what?" "We.... move on to Pewter" muttered Derek. They started to walk through the Viridian forest to get to Pewter. All of them became pokemon trainers earlier on that morning, when Prof. Oak gave them their starter pokemon in their hometown Pallet town. They walked to a patch of grass in search of pokemon. Dan found a wild Pidgey, but failed to catch it. Dan only had five pokeballs left. But Grubbs had ten. “I can’t find any pokemon!”, complained Derek. Grubbs had found a wild Metapod. He sent out his pokemon, Squirtle. “Squirtle, use Water Pulse!”, shouted Grubbs. The attack bounced right off Metapod. “What?”, said Grubbs. “If you didn’t notice”, noted Dan, “Water is weak against grass type.” “Oh,” said Grubbs quietly, “Oh yeah” Grubbs took out another pokemon. “Go Vulpix! Use ember!” The attack got Metapod and severely damaged it. “Go pokeball!” It caught the Metapod.
They were now in Pewter after a few hours. Now Grubbs had a Squirtle, Rattata and a Metapod. First in Pewter, they went to a few trainers that wanted to battle. Dan found an enemy and defeated him, but Derek lost his battle. Grubbs was about to go against a trainer now. “The winner wins one thousand, that is if you have it”, purred the trainer. Derek was the referee of the match. “Go Squirtle!” roared Grubbs. “Go Pidgey” screamed the trainer. “Use Water Gun!” said Grubbs. The Pidgey made a loud noise after it dodged the attack. “What is it Pidgey?” asked he trainer. But then, the Pidgey was sucked up by a large, strange vacuum. A man in a black costume was the one who did it. There was a large red R on his costume. All four off the trainers knew who this guy was: Team Rocket. “Give him back now!” screamed the owner of the Pidgey. “Who are you?” asked Dan. “I’m a Team Rocket you stupid Twerp. Oh and my name is Chris”, he added. “Who cares what your name is!” roared the trainer. “I’m going to battle you for it!”
So the trainer, Nick was his name, called out his other pokemon, Ekans. Chris called out a Pidgeotto.
“Ekans, use bite!” The attack got Pidgeotto before it flew away to avoid it. “Use gust now!” roared Chris. Ekans got blown away a couple of feet. It got up again though. Pidgeotto kept flapping Ekans when it got too close. Derek, Grubbs and Dan joined in the battle with their starter pokemon. "Use Ember Charmander!", said Derek. The move fairly damadged Pidgeotto, but it was still powerful. Dan made Bulbasaur use Vine Whip which didn't really damage Pidgeotto. This pokemon was really strong.
Will they get back the Pidgey for Nick? Would Pidgeotto still have an advantage? Find out in the next chapter!
