My website was hacked by someone just now, :(

I managed to access my cPanel and change all my ftp passwords, but theres a lot of damage...Every link on my site AND forum goes to this guys site.... :mad:

if anyones knows a thing or two and would like to help with the restoration process it wuld be greattly appreciated....or if anyone knows how to hack...then it would also be greatly appreciated if you did the same to this guy...MUWAHAHA :mad:

im not a good hacker,i only know how to hack games not sites so i would help but i cant just spam hes site like HRBEK said

Two wrongs don't make a right. Hacking him back isn't going to make things any better, yanno?

Besides, are you sure it was that guy that hacked the site, and just not some other bum just linking there to take the blame off himself??

No encouraging or talking about hacking other people, even in a situation like this.
Hacking is something we don't support so please drop off that subject.

Ouch...don't know of any quick processes to restore your site I'm afraid. Probably just have to delete all of the crap he put on your site and forum yourself... :(

Sorry to bust a bubble, but unless you have made a backup, or still have the files at hand, coded and etc. You`ll have to re-do everything, unless there is an alternative to this.

A member of my forums advertised his site then one of my moderators deleted his post. The next thing you know, when ever you clcik a link/button on my site and forum it leads back to the site the guy was advertising.

@ Anubis, Yeah, we had to restart everthing because he overwrote my sql files and all my databases and i only had backups of the site coding. :(

i could've hacked it but i don't use it 4 reasons like this
