torrent seeds

hey i know this is a dumb question but wat are seeds in torrents?

I'd say ask Eldiablo, seeing as how he's a frequent Bit Torrent user, but he told me he got bored of C/D, ahaha...!

Not actually sure myself, but I do know that the more seeds a torrent has, the quicker it shall download...I think...dunno, all torrents seem to be slow with me. o_O

well i know on ABC when the downloads complete u can go on super-seed mode, i found that out by downloadin some tekken vids :)

it's probably not the best idea for you to use super-seed mode. Seeds are people who have the whole file(s) downloaded and are now sharing it with everyone else who does not have it.
