ok first of all i hate the spider man font it has on it.the controllers also suck they look like boomerangs and what is the difference between the ps3 and the ps2 instead of more games?

I agree. Playstation 3 is much more powerful and is backwards compatible with all of the other Playstation games. Of course there is a difference..... A big difference!

Omg you moron.
How is the PS3 different from the PS2? First of all the graphics are 10 times better to say the least and the gameplay will be more realistic than a top-spec PC not to mention internet accessibility.
And to top it all off it has twice the power of the 360 or revolution so shut up before you make an even bigger fool of yourself.

hey look, a thread full of idiots! no, nintendo is alright, but i am sony loyal. and ya know what, i like the new controllers ok, i don'y care what people say. the'yre cool ok? and as for difference, the new ps3 will be able to process 2 teraflops per second. that's more than nintendo revolution, and xbox 360. the controllers also come wireless standard, with no multitap required for 3, 4, 5, 5 players. it will use a 50 GB blu-ray disc instead of a 1GB dvd. it should come with a hard drive (20 GB), and a ethernet port. the differences are endless.

Lol, calm down mate. Anyway, I'm a loyal Nintendo and Sony fan......... X-Box is okay too. However, I know that Playstation 3 will be the best, and that's why I want to get it quickly, before the rush. Good information by the way random task.

i am a PS fanboy I dont hate teh Nintendo systems but they have little to no cahnce of even competing with Sonys offerings. Yeah and forte...the PS3 controller ya know the one that looks like a "Boomerang" the controller is called the ****ING BOOMERANG!!!
