yep just like all Microsoft PC things the xbox 360 hasn't been without glitches
According to Xbox Scene and Team Xbox the most common problems are games failing to load and random lockups

This is just one of the few reasons why I dont buy any new console on day of release! I think it could result in a recall if somthing is found to be very wrong by MS... Knew this would happen... usualy always somthin wrong with new consoles.

^ Yea saw a video of that. Only seems to happen if you move the machine while it's playing a game and somtimes just moving it with a disk inside when it's switched off.
Anyway take a look at this lol

hmm I can see why you would want to do that but I wouldn't wanna void the warrenty so quickly. Get a mini firdge put the machine in that and drill a hole at the back big enought for the cable's ect to fit throught and then fill the hole in using polly filler :P

if they have to recall them it would be a nightmare for microsoft........and it would give nintendo to move into second
i think the rev will come out stronger and be a better system than ps3 but 360 might be in first and rev in second and i dont have high hopes for the ps3

ok guys i got an xbox360 for christmas so i wanna put ya straight
since i got it i have not yet expierienced any problems like freezing or overheating e.t.c
yes i have had my disk scratched but this was only because the xbox fell over while i was playing the disk
i think people are just spreading rumours to stop people buying them as they are not being made quickly enough
oh yeah and for anyone else thinking of getting an xbox360 and want to play original xbox games then get a hard drive many adverts or rumours forget to tell you that u need one to play original xbox games

It would seem that it's only some Xbox360's that have faults at the moment... my mate's Xbox has hung on him a few times but apart from that it's ok. He feels let down tho by the 360 at the moment... at least he didn't buy it tho. I told him things will pick up when devlopers get to know the limits of the machine as launch games are usualy pritty lame in most cases.

my friends xbox360 was dead on arrivals so she took it back, replaced it and it scratched the game, she took it back again and bought a psp and kept the rest

I've heard as well. That's why I plan to get Halo 3, then try to get the 360 when it's a lower price. My step-dad also considered not to get it as well. Too many bugs 'n crashes.
