horror movies.. they are meant to scare you, not be out for you to laugh at. why are they so funny these days? i thought that horror was meant to be scary..
the grudge. apparently it was one of the scariest movies to come out. i thought otherwise.. i sat there with four friends and watched this movie. honestly.. i was bored as all hell. this one didnt even make me laugh! the only thing that did is that i can do the two 'grudge' sounds.. meow noise and croke thing, and thus i can amuse myself on camps or when people are paranoid because i can sneak up behind them and click or meow.
even so.. in other horror movies.. i mostly just laugh at the things that happen.. the sudden things that make people jump, i sit there and laugh at them.. the weird reaction by those on the film when they find or see something..
take saw 2 for example (not too much of a spoiler here, but if you dont want to read it then.. dont..)

the girl that found the antidote in the thing hanging from the roof and put her hands through the razor thing to get to it, couldnt pull her hand back out so she tried to get the antidote ith her other hand, putting it through razor thing, and thus was stuck. i know she might have been this stupid because of the gas stuffs; but still.. her reaction, it was so bad it was funny!

did you notice that now most of the shows are either damn soap operas, or reality shows? not only that.. but now they have a new animated show.. 'drawn together'.. its an animated reality show! >.<
is that what we really need? O_o
soap operas.. fine, people have been known to stick with the show through its entire time of air.. and some have bean on for many years. but reality shows are what really get to me. why watch a bunch of people fight when they are stuck in a house for entertainment.. with cameras recording there every move 24/7.. even when they sleep, when you have your own disfuctional family that needs taking care of? damn you peoples! look out for ya kids.. and instead of watching this live channel put on pay per view for some 'big brother' **** 24/7, why not go down to the park? down to the beach? take ya family out for the day or something!
some shows are not so bad though. and of course it is up to what the viewer wishes to watch.. but its good to go and get some excersize every now and again.. even a simple through-a-ball-against-a-wall-and-catch-it game. its usually just as much fun, and you are also doing something ^_^
again; i have nothing against people that watch tv and do nothing.. but its damn annoying sometimes.

music today! gah to it! half the bands out today sound exactly the same, and the majority of the other half are country music singers. am i the only one that cant tell the different between a lot of the bands music today? i was listening to the radio the other day while in the car.. there were there top-20's count down of the week. a what-you-want sort of thingy.. i could swear that multiple bands were asked to be played.. and many different songs.. but i could not tell the difference between most of the bands o_O. seriously.. they all sound exactly the same to me.. im not sure what genre they were.. sort of a mix between punk and a sort of weak rock, but when i got home, i searched some of the songs played and saw that there was rock, punk.. but also pop, hip-hop, grunge, heavy metal.. all these different types of genres. i would hate to have the job of decideing what genre the bands play.. it would most likely be one of the hardest jobs around!
at the moment.. most of the music i listen to, the bands are from the `80's. some people might think that this erea was bad or 'evil' or whatever (ive heard some people say that).. but at least the majority of people could tell bands apart! they all had there own unique sound! its like a band started playing a certain type of music, then another band copied, and another band copied.. a bunch of fans rang up radio places and requested songs from these bands to be played, that all that was heard.. it got dug into the minds of people then suddenly everyone was playing this type of music!
i dont know.. just.. weird that people can tell the difference between music today, yet others cant.. always bothered me.

now.. mobile phones.
doesnt probably belong in this section. but i just want to say
why do people bother with these things? portable phones, hey! neat! it is quite the convenient! and this new sms feature! great for people that dont really have to talk on the phone; but rather just get a certain question answered or a favor done as fast as one can type on these number pads..
but last time i checked.. these were phones. not internet-connectiong, video-recording, picture-taking, game-playing, voice-recording, color-changing, music-playing objects that are now hardly ever actually used as a phone from what i see from going around the city tonight! i see people downloading songs and movies onto their phones.. watching live sports and tv programs..
damn... objects of communication.

but yeah..
just thinking tonight.. so many things nowadays are over-rated..

darn........the ring two was supposed to be scarier than the first........but i found myself laughing at the movie more than bring scared of it.........the ring was mucho scarier than the first..........but the only type of ring n scream series i like are the...SCARY MOVIE SERIES!!lol

\You can't tell the difference because you don't want to be able to. It's not what you like so you don't care. Ever notice that kids who like today's music hear the difference, but don't hear the difference in say... classic rock? I don't hear a difference in any heavy metal bands ever, but someone's going to come back with a "they're so different ohhhhh" to me. I don't like heavy metal, you don't like whatever genre you speak of, that's why. Most of the time the "they sound the same" argument is just a last ditch effort to try to cut down something you don't like. :rolledeye

It's called convenience. Would you rather carry a phone, camera, CD/MP3 Player, Video Recorder deal, and a palm pilot for your news or weather needs, or just one tiny thing that can do it all? One options a whole lot easier...

yes, but incase you didnt notice.. these were my opinions.
i get by without a mobile.. infact.. i get annoyed at having to take it when i do.. and the whole mobile deal is for convenience; i know that.. i aint stupid. just why must every 'kid', so to speak, have to have one when they barly have enough friends outside school to actually need to use it. and then they need a new one every time a new model comes out. it just annoys me. the kids arent going to be going around filming mini movies or wondering how the weather will be for the next week or two. they dont need it.. most of the time (from what i know from growing up..) its all a popularity act to gain peoples attention and grab as many friends as they can for being 'cool'. and isnt it now illegal to film or take photos in public from a mobile withought everyones permission who are in shot? and, to me, there isnt much need to have all the different color changing things or them things where you shake the phone and certain lights blink and thus spell out a word that looks like its floating in mid air. and everyone must agree that the ads on tv for mobiles are annoying as hell. the games can be fun, indeed, but is there much need for them? maybe its just me, but i find them very fustraighting =P

mobiles with all the different things crammed into them are fine for people that have very busy lives. but look around next time youre out at how many people there are actually around that arent actually doing any emergency thing on them. its quite ammusing (kept me ammused for a while watching all the peoples). most of them are kids, too (kids, by the way, are pretty much anyone 15 and under).

'oh, hi! hows it going?! yeah, im fine.. just sitting here doing nothing. bored as hell. whats on tv?' - conversation that i over-heard from a (around) 30 year old [had quite a funny expression when she said 'bored' too]

and the music thing; of course all the music people wouldnt like would sound the same.. but i used to like some of the music when i was younger (twelve, etc) and the reason why i started to stop liking it so much was because it all started to bore me by being too simular to each and every other song on the charts. and if i didnt want to be able to tell the difference between the songs, would i be complaining about the fact that i cant then? cause i would like to.. be nice to have a bit more variety.

I'll give you this, kids definitely put way too much money into making the thing look cool. Covers are one thing, but what you were saying with the lights and all, that's just ridiculous. Do you know (of course you don't, how could you) that I've seen someone put this thing on their phone that makes the antenna spin like a helicopter blade?

and no.. i didnt know that.. obviously. but ive seen them before. also these little ball things you put in your bag so that when your phone rings they light up and do a weird light show thing so you can see where your phone is. i guess that would be convenient if the phones didnt light up when they rang anyway =P
