nope it can play GBA games, but not the old skool original gameboy and gameboy color games making playing pkmn silver on the ds impossible

no its not the same as the GBA for some reason nintendo purposely made it so that the ds and GBA micro cant play gb games or gb color games, just GBA games and thats a fact. even try to play a gameboy game on the ds if u dont believe me, its not happening

I believe I have seen all of the above games at video stores and they caught my attention. How do you feel about them?

Actually, I have never seen nor heard of Another Code: Two Memories. Can you give me a small run-down of the game?

Well first of all I must admit I have played these games only briefly, so I'm not quite sure my opinion would actually cover the entire gameplay of the games :P

I did some googling and found out Another Code is also called Trace Memory (I think that might be the USA release name, I suppose Another Code is the European name). Anyways, does that name ring any bells?
It's basically a puzzle game, good ol' point and click adventure, perhaps a bit similar to the PC Myst games I've played in the past. Your task is basically to explore some unknown island for clues on your past, your memories and your parents. I liked the way peoples faces change with their emotions when you talk to them :)

Children of Mana...I instantly liked it because of the character art and gorgeous environments, but hey, that's me :P I've played the old Secret of Mana and Sword of Mana games, so I hoped this game would live up to my expectations. And it did actually :o For this type of gameplay the stylus works great! *slides it across the screen and kills a rabite* Oh joy!

Etrian Odyssey, OMG instant LOVE! This has to be the hardest game I've ever played in my life, but I'm loving it xD It's a dungeon crawler... the whole game takes place in 1 dungeon and 1 small town nearby. Boring? Well I don't think so. It's rather challenging! Form your own guild, with your own job classes (you pick 'em!), raise the skills and attacks you see fit, collect materials for merchants to create new equipment for you with, etc. Something I personally liked a lot was the fact that you draw your own dungeon maps :D

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings... I've only played it for half an hour or so, not due to lack of interest, but just because I only got it like 2 days ago and haven't really had the time. Can't really say anything bad about it yet though ><

Heroes of Mana, eeeehwk...what the hell? That was my first thought. I didn't get the feeling this game had any connections with the Mana series and I spent the first hour producing battle units in my ship to combat monsters outside. How does that fit into the world of Mana? I might pick it up some time later to see if the rest of the game is any different, but I didn't really like it to begin with, so we'll see :P

And last, Luminous Arc, which has only been in my DS for a day :P Don't really have an opinion about it yet, though I like the way a lot of the dialogs are actually spoken, which makes the whole text reading slightly more comfortable in an RPG ^_^
