Well i been thinking and i thought a 36O is a ripoff since you need HDTV to get the graphics.Also(tell me if im wrong)my mom said microsoft didn't finish it complety and people are taking it back cause its been cutting off on them.And if you no how good a HDTV looks,it might mess the graphics on the tv up.So it might mess ya HDTV.Tell me what you think ;)

Yeah I heard that they didn't finish it completely either. I think they wanted to get it out before the PS3 came out so people (mostly kids) Would buy the 360 so they wouldn't have to wait for the PS3.

Yeah, and they didn't make enough on purpose so they could:

1. See what goes wrong with them so they can fix them for later
2. Release the rest when PS3 comes out and with Halo 3 for better competition.
3. See how popular they get.

So it was a good strategy for Microsoft, but for consumers, it was bad.

sry man no it dont, believe me, me and my buddy had his on all night and i literally mean, ALL NIGHT, and it did not shut off... his never jes "shuts" off. it froze a couple of times but thats it, maybe from bein on to long

@Oblivion: Ya mum is almost correct altho with a HDTV it carn't be messed up at all. Infact it also improves normal TV channels as well as Xbox and Xbox360 games.

On the over heating problem the only thing I've been told is to make sure you give it plenty of air flow... both the power supply and the actual console. Failing that get a REALLY big fan and ram the air down the vents as close as possible :P

Is it a rip off? Carn't say for sure but if ya put a gun to my head I would say yea it is. I've seen PGR3 and COD2 running on HDTV's and yes it does look amazing but without it... well who knows... I therefore think it's not a great leap in terms of graphics but the AI has been improved greatly. No longer will the men/women/ailen's be like bullet sponges :D

PS3 will also make use of the HDTV's but with blue ray disks providing more storage space I reckon there will be quite a big graphical change over the PS2 but that said I still think the cost of producing good games will rocket to more than 8million a game :eek: (currently cost around 3-5 milllion)

Everyone I knw that owns a 360 says they wasted there money cause it's not working. My friend called micosoft and told them and all they say is..."your not taking care of it very good then." and all that ****. so he cussed them and hung up.

If you look at the specs for the ps3 and the xbox 360, the xbox has twice the video ram and will surely perform better than the ps3. Plus you can upgrade the harddrive and ram overtime. and when the xbox frist was out they had a recall so the can upgrade the specs when the PS3 comes out at any time

the graphics dont need a HDTV to be great, they are excellent anyway because the hi resolution allows it to be, along with a great gfx card with plenty ram as elona said. so go away.

yeah i have one its great on a big screen just when you play xbox live<but thats a diffrent story its ***y, slick, wireless all over, its fast for me way better than the xbox1 it will grow to be Next-Gen.... if you let it :cool:

yea they may have wanted a recall but noone sent them back, i wouldnt have anyway, theres nothin wrong with them, if u leave them on all literally all day, then yea they'll freeze, it did it at game crazy

I hope not... I'd be way to tempted to buy one lol and I carn't really afford to without a stable job and wage... + plus I'm gettin a credit card so it will be even easier for me to give in to the green machine lol

Anyway. The UK hasn't had another batch of the 360's in yet. Only been one batch and that was release date. Anybody from the US been told of another batch for January?
