Nintendo President Satoru Iwata today announced Nintendo DS Lite, a slimmer version of the best-selling Nintendo DS.Also featuring brighter screens, Nintendo DS Lite will launch in Japan in March. Nintendo DS Lite will be less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter.

I wish Nintendo would stop producing new editions not that long after the last release! Even tho I dont by Nintendo stuff I can see why people would get annoyed when lookin at this list:

GameBoy, GameBoy Mini, GameBoy Color
GameBoy Advance, GameBoy Advance SP, GameBoy Micro
Nintendo DS and now this Nintendo DS Lite...

it looks too thin, and the two pieces look like they can break off the hinges
i wont bother with this one, cause i already have a normal DS

besides size, is there any difference

I don't have one yet, so I would have to compare prices and decide on one of them.

I have to get a new DS.. My whole Touch Screen is all scratched up. Maybe I'll get the thin one or the Red Mario Kart one.. Depends on the price.

the original will probobly be less expensive, but the new "Lite" one, will obviously, wiegh less

I thought about buying the DS Lite when it releases, and give it to my little cousin for Christmas.
