Bad News Guys. i heard from my friend (whom works for cingular) that they might drop T9 (predictive text option) from the options on the next generation of Cell phones because the Cell companies think that people don't actually use T9. Personally i like T9 alot, so i really want it to stay on the next generation of cell phones. He said increasing the page hits for the T9 site would show that people still use T9. Anyway if you use T9, want to do me a favor or would like to keep T9 on the next generation of cells visit their site located here (just a page hit helps): http://www.textfast.t9.com/index1.htm I simply ask that you help by giving them a page hit so that i can keep the feature on my phone.

Honestly, those who hate it probably do not understand how to use it. It's the quickest thing ever. That, or you suck at spelling and are too lazy to teach it new words.

It's easy to use yet noone knows how..

i used to not like it.. then i got annoyed at pressing all these little buttons and always used to end up typing 'R' instead of 'S'. geh to that, and so i turned on that other thing. ive been using it for eight months now* and my life is so much easier. ive got more friends, im more outgoing and ive lost 8 pound** in one month!

* i never text nor really use my phone much at all

only when it knows the word. and there is no easy way to tell it knows a word without typing it with t9 first.

t9 is good though.

well even if you don't like T9- you can still help out the people that do use it. I mean its a feature that can be turned off so if you want to you never have to use it. IMHO T9 saves a ton of time, so i love it.

T9 Isn't the greatest invention. I was trying to text my friend on my aunt's phone and she happened to have T9 on it. So anyways to amke a long story short It took me 15 minutes to text him and I was only trying to type 2 sentence's!

OK, I CARE! I TOTALLY CARE! It would suck if they dropped T9. T9 changed my life. I used to be SO slow texting and after I learned T9 I got so much better, I don't think I could deal without it. Well, then maybe you should get some therapy to help you with that fear. :) I think it's funny to see all the people blaming their inability to use new technology on the technology. T9 has to be personalized and also it takes a little learning, but once you get it it is so much faster.

No, but T9 is the greatest method of predictive text. I think it's a GOOD invention, maybe not the greatest, but still good.

Hell yeah, T9 rocks. Pressing the key 7 times to get an 'S' is for chumps.

its funny how few people know that :o to me its almost second nature. People should just visit the T9 site and low and behold a few mins later they can know everything there is to know about T9.
