I was looking at stuff in my pokemon ruby/sapphire guid book and I saw that there is a lot of ways to get fans. One of them is the beat the cable club battle. Does any one here know what the heck that is? Also I dought this is true but I heard that to get to Mirage Island you have to have certain pokemon when you talk to the guy that says if he sees it or not. Does anyone know if that is true or not? And if it is what pokemon it is.

Thanks.

The cable club is when you link up and battle a friend and maybe a creenshot of the page about Mirage Island.

about mirage island-yes. that is sorta true
each pokemon has a number, which is completly random. like HRBEK said in some other thread, the chances of getting there w/o a cheating device is slim to none

Cable Club-Go to the Pokémon Center, and find the Cable Club booth... You must beat it with a friend..
Miriage Island-No, there isn't a certain Pokémon to get to Mirigae Island... I have tried every Pokémon I own, and there isn't a certain Pokémon...

Acturally I just found on the internet that some guy said that whenever you start a new game mirage island has acertain number and if you talk to the guy with the pokemon with the same number as mirage island than the guy will see it and you can go to it but I don't know if that is true or not. I have heard a lot of different ways but this one I kind of believe. I hope that is true so I can finally go there.

yes from what i remember a pokemons gender is determined by a number, for example +1-1000 = male -1-1000 = female.

These figures are not accurate they are just to show the workings.
Anyway mirage sensitive pokemon are those who apprently fall just outside of neutral, so on this scale say -1 - +1

from what i understand of it, this is what determines this, however i think the numbers are much higher, it might be something like 1-1000000 or something terrible.

edit.
im not sure it workds by an assigned number, only that it wouldn't then be possible for a cheating device to make a mirage sensitive pokemon which works on all games, unless of course there is a general formula to it.
Im pretty sure though "90%' that it works by gender, why not try pokemon maker and create a MIS pokemon? might be worth a try :)

You need a Code Device... Like an Action Replay.

Thanks,
