Dont get the xbox 360 it useless

1st. It fails to tell you that you need a hard drive to play xbox games until you actually try to put an original xbox game in, and once I had bought the hard drive it dont even play all of the original xbox games.

2.Memory unit come seperately so you cant save anything till you got one.

And I think theres a few more problems with it that I probably forget to tell, but my advice is to save up for the ps3 instead it will be much better.

I like the Nintendo & PS# systems I don't even care for X-Box....even though at walmart it was my first time playing any X-box ever....."the X-box 360"......it was my first time every & I kicked ass & everyone hovered around to see.

Oh for the love of good god, I have posted this in the "Next Generation Console War" therad (Can't spell in the mornin')... Check ALL of it before you post here... I know I posted it. It does come with a hard drive and it saves games if you get the Platnium or Advanced Package... The hard drive is like the memory unit, but if you get a memory card, it's better... I'll have to check back. Anyway, the hard drive is like the memory unit...


P.S. - It's a memory CARD, not a memory UNIT. @.@

If you're wondering if 360 games cost more...you'll be scared if I told you a horrible answer. The answer's yes. Xbox games are gonna cost the usual price of 50 bucks,unless you buy a special edition,third party,360 game. You'll be paying 60 bucks. Old school players might remember this pricing structure. Xbox.com will be listing a list of the backwards compatible games for the 360 to use. YOU CAN'T PLAY XBOX 1 GAMES ON THE 360 WITHOUT A HARD DRIVE!!! And lastly,if your pal doesn't have a 360 yet and you love playing each other in Halo,don't fear. You can still play together with Xbox Live as if you both still had the old Xbox 1. I still have more info if you're tired of reading. If you still wanna reserve for the 360,you might wanna wake up early. EB Games and Game Stop have stopped reserving for the 360. They think they've gone over their limit of the systems they're getting shipped. You'll have to wake up early if you want one. Because on the 22nd,that's 10 days from now,Microsoft's selling their next generation system. Circuit City is starting an overnight shipment for those who weren't able to get the system pre ordered. You can pay extra to get it shipped on the 21st,and be able to get it on the 22nd. I think you guys had be better off on waiting until after Christmas to try and get one.

The Xbox 360 is well worth it, if you buy the Full pack you get a harddrive, if you buy the Core pack you have spent less money so you can buy a Memory Unit and maybe another Wireless Controller.

You do need a Harddrive to play the normal Xbox games, but the list is growing and growing as we speak, they are adding more and more Xbox games you can play on Xbox 360 , just give it time.

When you buy a normal PS2 pack you don't get a Memory Card for it either, you have to buy it seperately, that's normal.

Xbox 360 is great because Xbox Live is practically flawless and it's running fine already.

I have known it to happen with a few of the XBOX360's. My mates 360 has a few freezing problems but apart from that it was fine until he sold it :eek:

There is no percific cause of the problem tho, some say overheating of either the power pack or the machine it's self. The latest one was a chip set fault which is more likly and was the cause of the recent lack of consoles...

Problem is people have made a rather big deal about it and it was further muliplied by Internet forum's such as this place and others.

Like you cid, I'll be gettin both the Xbox 360 and PS3 ones the prices have droped or I get a good job so my savings are topped right bk up again :-)

Agreed, it's like 1 out of a million Xbox 360's overheat, that person tells friends, and/or posts it on forums, and random noobs pick it up and spread it even further. its so stupid

I have mine on quite a bit and have had no problems, the power brick gets a little warm but thats the electricity flowing through it like my modem
