Bus Crash...

OK, on 2/28/06, on my way to school my bus, # 33, crashed into a school van. I was just thinking...."Hmmmm going to school, maybe I can borrow my friends manga?" Then the bus driver slamed on the breaks, & in my head I'm like "Oh ****!" The bus crashed into the van & the van went flying forward a few feet. Everyone was alright exept me, I just sit right in front of the bus every day, when the bus hit the car I was sent forward & hit my head into the seat in front of me. After it was over I'm like OMG, then came the slight pain in my jaw, my lip was bleeding & some other parts in my jaw were too, at least my teeth didn't get hurt. So I looked in the front of the bus there was a big yellow thing in front of the bus, at first I thought..."Did we it a Tracker?" But seconds after that I knew it was the hood of the bus knocked forward, nomatter how may times the driver tryed to put it back on it would not stay because it was bent & some spring broke. So I'm sitting here say to myself "What happens next?". about 7 police cars come, 1 ambulence, & 1 firetruck. Three of the kids in the van said that they wanted to go into the ambulence to get checked out. They also said if I wanted to go but I said no. Then we had to move the bus out of the street, we had to drive with the hood draging....SCREECH!! So it all ends with us being 1 period late to school, & a 65 dollar fine to the bus driver. There was 4 boys & 3 girls(I'm one of the three of coarse) on the bus.

So far in the past 3 years I have had 3 bus events.

Ran out of gas
Got hit by a car
& this one.

Glad your ok.....But you should have went in the ambulence so you could miss some school. lol

Ive been in a bus crash but not a major one. just some idiot talking on his cell phone and was not looking and ran into the back of the bus no one was hurt maybe that guy tho....

My bus has never crashed, but we have had 5 bus drivers in 3 years :rolledeye . Although, sometimes I feel like we are going to crash the way the bus drivers drive these days!

Thanks....It would of been weird going into the ambulence, all 3 kids in the van were in there, what will I say..."Hey I was in the bus that just hit you" hmmmm I would get some evil glares in there. Anyway I may have to go to a docter, the place were I hit my lip, my mom says it looks swollen, well now that part feels like a bruise every time I eat.....Also my neck hurts when I look up & sometimes sideways, my mom also said it might be whiplash.

Well after all of that there was some funny parts when we were waiting for another bus to come that day, I would of posted it in my last post but I was booted of the computer cuz my mom wanted to check her mail. Well 1 of the 4 boys was sleeping when the crash happened, Right when we slammed on the brakes he had a rude awakening. Then when we pulled over there was people taking pics for the newspaper.....all 4 of the boys were hanging out of the windows to have there time of glory, they were also shouting out "Dude, were going to be on the NEWS!!!"

And this is what heppened to the van.....the bumper fell off, the complete side of the vans backend fell off (I don't mean the side of the car), the windows were totaled (When we hit the car I actually saw all the glass from the window fly everywhere), the whole backend was bent in......I bet you could that the whole backend part off with no trouble at all. The only problems with our bus was, the bent hood, a missing frontlight, ummmm the yellow extender thingy was broke(please excuse my French;o) & the whole front part was scratched.

Oh & this was in the newspaper.....ummm my friend said it was in the newspaper on the same day as the accident, in the living section I think.....

Wow, that's harsh. I'm glad your ok, though. I just read the whole thing, and I'm sorry that had to happen to you. Our bus hasn't had any wrecks though...

ouch, a bus crach, then you were all beat up, and how was your jaw bleednig?? wierd, once i had a bus crash, we missed a field trip and all of school :D :D we were on a coach bus, nothing happened to it cause it was so big, the car that crashed into us was all beet up, the front of the car became part of the middle.............

glad to no ya ok ^_^ have never been in a crash of any sort i dont think... wierd im surprised lol me and my uncle sit in his car and go 100 mph down a 40 mph lane at 12 at midnight

Thanks for your consern everyone:), you all make me so happy. I feel much better now.....but for the past few days I've been having weird stomach aches, & everytime I ate....well I threw it up, So for the first night I skipped Dinner & Breakfast.....& when I felt better & ate Lunch the sickness came back, I hope its completely gone when I go to school tomorrow.......If I feel the sickness coming back I'll just go to the nurse & get my mom to pick me up & go home (And miss school).

Well some goods things came out of the weekend, I got 2 new manga for my Birthday(Yes early Birthday presents), .Hack//AI Buster2 & Full Metal Alchemists1/Ah they are both very good manga I love them

Ha Ha, that would be fun:D, but I felt better so I stayed at school, plus I have an Algebra test today that I really need to do because I'm Failing(Ha I'm bringing my cheatsheet to Algebra, mwa hahaha)

I know....the worst subject for the last period....I'm mildly awake waiting for the dismissal bell to ring.....so BoRiNg. Oh & I'm pretty sure I got a B or C on my test today.
