Mario & Luigi 2: Partners in Time is also a good game. Spyro: Shadow Legacy is okay, but I wouldn't recomend it, unless you have no other good DS games to but/beat.

How could you forget Pokémon Diamond and Pearl? Yeah, I recommend Pokémon Diamond and Pearl... Also, a lot of these are being repeated a lot...-_-'

New Super Mario Bros. (fun mini-games as well as AWESOME upgraded retro gameplay)
And if you like puzzles and thinking--Big Brain Academy or Brain Age
And just for the experience get Electroplankton, it's quite different.

And I almost forgot...ANIMAL CROSSING & MARIO KART! (duh)

I've heard Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows is a great game (next on my list anyway).

I also like Retro Atari (if you can dig the really old school)
