I was just reading on a myspace site that is a tribute to EG that Eddie was supposed to win the World Heavyweight Championship on the day of his death. On November 13,2005, Batista was set to defend his title against randy ortan and Eddie in a Triple threat match on the taping for November 18ths Smackdown. Eddie was suposed to have won. I dont know if other people knew this but I just found out.

yea man i knew about it, thats what tore me up so friggin bad... he died on a saturday night or like 1-2 in teh mornin on a sunday and was supposed to win the World Heavyweight Title in a Triple Threat Match on that following Friday... shame, damn shame...

Really? Well, I guess they had to change there plans, lol. What PPV was he supposed to win it on?

I didn't releze it was on a Tuesday. I tought he died on a Saturday and he was going to win it at a PPV the next day.

dude they tape smackdown! on tuesday and then show it on friday, used to be thursday, he died saturday mornin after him and chavo got in the hotel, he talked to chavo like 30 mins before that and he was fine and then all of a sudden... they said he didnt wake up for his wake up call and chavo found him like that....
