Downloadable PSone games, EyeToy, GPS and more...
Sony has announced that it will be offering its PSP at a reduced price and has a host of new features planned for the desirable portable device, including a download service that will offer PSP owners the chance to play popular PSone games.
The lower price will certainly tempt those who have so far resisted PSP's alluring charms. A new PSP 'base model' package will be available in Europe from 22 March for 199 Euros (around £140) and will be a strictly no-frills deal, providing just the PSP, AC adaptor and battery pack. In comparison, the PSP value pack (currently available at £180) also includes a 32MB memory stick, headphones, wrist strap and pouch.
And while Sony is removing items from the box to knock a few quid off the price, it's also revealed that it will be adding a range of new features that should ensure that the handheld is an even more tempting prospect for those yet to pick one up.
Guess this is to combat the sales of the DS lite... as seen here http://www.cheatingdome.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23398&page=2
