I know CID is looking farward to this game but I think he might have over looked somthing... The game requires the HardDrive which if I'm not mistake CID doesn't own.
Epic fantasy action game Ninety-Nine Nights - due over here in September - will need the 360 hard drive to run the game, according Microsoft's own game information.
The forthcoming hack 'n' slash combat game requires the hard drive, presumably to cope with masses of on-screen activity and the frantic battlefield action that is featured.
This comes as something of a surprise as Microsoft was adamant that gamers buying the HD-less Core Pack for £209 wouldn't miss out on any of the games, with the only disadvantage being that Core Pack owners would not being able to download content from Xbox Live Marketplace. But games such as Ninety-Nine Nights and the data-heavy Football Manager 2006 - which also requires the HD - have proved this is not the case.

For a game like N3 I'll blindly buy a HD :P

I would seriously be looking at reviews and stuff, because I wouldn't go and fork out $220AU on a game, that I! ME! said that a review said it wasnt good. I'll type it up if I have to, to have you avoid this monstrosity of a game!
It's kinda like GR:AW on xbox. I was pumped about it. It looked awesome. I played it and I'm like "damn, this game is not the shiznet."

N3 is no doubt the best game coming out on Xbox 360 so far.
GR:AW is just another of those lame war shooter games.
N3 is quite unique and hasn't been done before, especially taking all the power out of the Xbox 360 and aim it at that gameplay, those huge amounts of enemies.

N3 (as you put it cid@:P) now doesn't need the HD... it was a mistake on the microsoft Xbox site... still I'll leave this open for debate on the game.

Just a quick question, but are there going to be games coming out on the 360 that require an HDTV?

No... When I say HD I mean hard drive... not HDTV...
Some football manager game requires a Hard Drive (HD) tho
HDTV just gives you a little more spit and shine to the quality of the images being displayed via yout TV. tbh tho I saw some diffrence but not a lot to make me want to pay £600 - £1000 for one that wouldn't fit in my room anyway...

I'll apparently be getting a 51cm flat screen tv for $210 which rocks. Should be good for gaming..and s hit. There are people i know that are getting plasma TV's but they only last 10 years. Anyone thinking of getting a TV should definately go for any HD tv, widescreen, or some LCD. DON'T get a plasma, especially for games coz it burns the crap out of the screen I've heard.

Just lame rumors, Plasma TV's dont burn stuff into the screen, maybe the first prototype did. But they solved that long ago.
My sis keeps her plasma TV on a lot, nothing gets burned in, just rumors.
Plasma TV's are incredible. the color depth is mighty fine

Oh god, i haven't seen anything on Ninety-Nine Nights, really.
But i'm sure it's good. Because I liked the Kingdom Under Fire series and the Dynasty Warriors series and put those two together, heh, well that's what i've heard on it.
Thankfully i went ahead and bought the $499 package, and seriously, it didn't surprise me when i found out Ninety-Nine Nights took a HD, this game will be loaded :D

@CID: Apparently a Demo of N3 has just appeared on Xbox live. I've not checked my self but wouldn't bother with it anyway coz I dont like the style of game anyway.
