I made a movie with windows movie maker for my sister and I want to put it on to a CD but it's not working.
I've tried a CD and a DVD (I have both writers) but neither will work, the drives won't detect a blank disc.
I tried to use Media player to write the movie file to a CD but it'll only put on the music.
Can anyone help?
If need be I can get all the info about the drives

What do you want to do with the CD, use it on a DVD player or just give it to someone to watch? If you just want to give it so someone to watch make a "Data Disc", its when you place any kind of files to a CD for backup.....then you can give it to someone, & you just need a regular Blank CD for it. The program I use for data discs is "Sonic MyDVD."

What format is the movie? If you want to put it onto a DVD and watch it, you need to have the movie as the proper DVD format.

Try using WinAVI if you need to convert your movie - http://www.winavi.com/en/download/download.htm

Just get the video converter...and yeah, I know it's only a free trial...
