Yeah, I'm having trouble installing new fonts on to my computer. I know how to do it, it's just that they're not appearing in the folder that I'm installing them into. I've had this problem for awhile, but I decided to wait and see if it would fix itself, but it hasn't. Help would be greatly appriciated. ^.^

Well FEL, this will probely help you if your using Windows XP.
Ok, once your done downloading your font, put the file in the "Font Folder" (you find it in the control panel). Just by putting the font files in the folder won't make the new fonts show up on your computer.
To make the fonts show up, while in the "Fonts Folder" go to: File, Install New Fonts. You will now see a box that says "Add Font".
Under where it says "Folders" you should already be in the "c:/windows Folder" scroll down till you see the "Fonts Folder" listed click it...then it will load all of the fonts in the folder.
Then click on the font that you want installed then click ok. I hope this helps you FEL.

Also if its still not working, it might be maybe a corrupted folder or the fonts that you are downloading are corrupted (....didn't download right). FEL, have you ever installed fonts before & they worked, or did you just start downloading them....info about this might help.

also, make sure that if they came in a *.zip file, that you've unzipped it
wont work otherwise

Well, I've downloaded fonts before, and they've actually appeared, and I didn't have any problems. Hm, I'm going to try again and see what happens next time...

The Fonts folder is also listed in the Control Panel, just drag and drop the .ttf file over to that folder.
