hey has anyone ever played a game called earthbound for snes? i really liked that game it had funny dialouge and a nice and long story. its kinda rare i guess

Yeah, i've played it. Its really fun, I beat it in 2-3 days.

Also, in Japan its called Mother 2. When Mother 2 was translated they changed the name:eek::mad:! The origanal Mother was for the old NES. There was suppose to be a Earthbound/Mother 64 but the project got to complicated so it got canceled (Thats sorta why Ness is in the SSMS game on the 64). Then Mother 3 just came out in Japan on the GBA.....I think they are going to translate it.....if they don't I'm going to download a translation, heh.

yeah i heard about that from a site i really really want a english version of mother 3 but it looks very unlikely now :(

I played Earthbound on the SNES. Need to replay it as I never finished it (came very close, but I got stuck somewhere I believe and I didn't use walkthroughs back then).

Its not true, well in a diffrent way......I know a site (http://www.mother3.org/) working on a translation & they are over 80% done, they also have screenshots of their translation. I will say nothing more of this site for certain rules.

i really hope that they make this on the virtual console! the mother 3 project is still in development but i cant wait till they finish it
