I've been trying for the past hour or so to burn a few songs I like to a blank CD (one's got one song on it, but meh, it works) off of Napster. I keep getting this message that says the CD's not blank (even with the blank one) or it's damaged.

Now, I've never really used the one song CD except in the 5th grade when I was trying to memorize the song for this talent show thing. The blank CD's never come out of it's case until today... I've always taken good care of my CDs (and yes, sadly, it's true). So what the heck is the problem? Sorry if this isn't allowed on here or whatever, but I just need the help, darn it. Thanx to whoever helps me.

It's blank but there is still one song on the CD from a long time ago?
I'm sorry if I didn't understand right because it's quite a long story, mind stating the facts or summing it if i'm wrong about the CD still having one song?

You can't burn on the one song CD cause the session is probably closed. I'm not sure about the other stuff...

Yeah, exactly, Burning a song usually leads to automatically closing the session when it's finished.

So no matter if you put 1MB or 700MB on it, you can't use it again.

Only CD-RW's can be used again this way.

Hm, well, whatever. The blank CD was a Sony, and my mom says that we need a Samsung, so I'll try that when I get the stupid CD and go from there. (And I'll make sure it's a CD-RW too.)

hmmm, be careful with CD-RWs for music, sometimes, they just don't play or play and skip and pause and stuffs

Mine plays... I'll make it play if I have to. Anyways, it worked, I just can't get anymore songs on to it. T_T Yes, it's a CD-RW. However, I do have a lot more, so no worries. Thanx, guys.
