One how big can my avatar be I just put a 40x40 in and its to big.
Two how big can my sig be.

the avatar may be 40x40 but its capacity may be too big.
and the avatar can be the average size but not too big, i use 350x150

Actually, avatars can be 65x65
And I think sigs are roughly about maximum 450 in width and maximum 150 in height, not too sure though

If its a jpeg avatar it might not work (due to size of the file), try converting it to a different format.

Yeah, maximum sig size limit is 450x150 and the maximum avy size limit is 65x65. I believe the avy size is different for staffs? Yes? No? (Meh, I have no freakin' idea. I know Dayle has a 100x100 kick-as* wizard avy.) Welcome to C/D as well!

I don't care about Dimensions I just hate the Bytes. I had this Kick @$$ Napolean Dynomite avatar and It wouldn't work.

Well thats been dayles av for like... forever, avs werent always 65 x 65, say they changed the avatar size right now to smaller, yours wouldnt dissapear, it would stay exactly the same. But yes they can make theirs larger.

@Gir - was it animated? and did you try to convert it?
