View Full Version : Xbox 360 live setup.

ok i got the ethernet cable and the 360, i know my connection can handle it but i use a router.

this wouldnt be a problem except the ethernet cable (on modem) that i would normally connect to my xbox is plugged into the router, and if i disconnect it my brothers laptop will lose internet, so thats not an option.

now i want to connect it to the router, since the ethernet port is already in use i cant use it, but it has these other 3 slots which i dont know what they do, they say "wired computers" (or w/e), can anyone tell me if they are ethernet ports or just there..?

Whats the brand of router?

And it should have more than one ethernet output on the router.

yea got it working, dumb 2 week trial thing was just a big lie..ill just buy 3 months of it to test it out

well i just bought the gold member thing im already on xbox live but when ever i try to jump in a game it always says cannot connect to host, but when it does work i jump in as a spectator, help?

What game are you playing? And whats your connection speed? (just say slow medium or fast, slow being sattelite DSL and fast being cable)

And thirdly, whats your live tag? :D
