i have this friend see. and I'm gonna buy a wii as soon as the rush dies down. and i was talking to him about it and he goes "save your money the wii sucks" and i go "that's a matter of opinion" and he says something like "no. a bunch of professional reviews said it sucks." so i just shake my head and say "matter of opinion." and he starts arguing telling me I'm wrong. so then i have to get his mom to help me explain to him the difference between opinion (which reviews are) and statistical fact (which they aren't). well believe you me. when i get my wii I'm not gonna let him play it. I'm gonna let his 9 year old brother play like SSBB or something but oh no not him. i will NOT have other people's opinions forced on me!

Yes your right but not letting him play with your Wii is childish! My mate is the same in college, he reckons the Xbox360 is $h!t but thats because he doesn't own one and can't afford it ;) However he's played mine and seen it in action and he now thinks its alright....

Me thinks your mate would be the same. Prove it to him that the Wii is a decent console even if it is lacking behind in the graphics department, even Nintendo admitted it or as good as anyway!

yay console! I heard a song today that reminded me of this particular story. it's rather funny how similar the two are
