who all here owns a ps3?

i am just wondering who all here owns the ps3? cause a lot of people are dissing it and i want peoples opinions who own it.

Its not out in Europe yet so not many have it over here unless its an import. As for other members on here they just can't afford the price tag and looking at the £425 tag here in the UK for one in March I can see why....

Eh, I've played it in game stores. I personally think it's better than the Wii and 360, but that's just me... It's something like the PSP's home menu-screen thing too. ^_^

Yea I live in Europe (UK) and I do want a PS3 even tho I own an Xbox360. The only thing holding me back is no Gran Turismo 5 until at least 2008 and the huge £425 or £500+ price tag for a bundle deal on a PS3. Its a lot of money for a games console....

well i disagree with u guys. i hav a ps3 and i can honestly say its the weakest of the three current gen systems right now. the choice of games is pretty bad and its just too much money. the only reason i got it was because i trashed my ps2 and i wanted to be able to play my ps2 games.

Now the PS3's only been out for exactly 5 months. So I don't know why ANYONE would expect a wide selection of games for a system that's only been out for 5 months... I mean, I sure as hell wouldn't... Of course, if you live in the UK, you get a wider selection of release games for the PS3. My PS2 got trashed as well, but you don't see me complaining...

I've played ps3 at my friends house and i dont like it. The only way I would buy it is for blu-ray cause its 400 bucks cheaper then reg. blu ray player. And for those who want cheaper price good luck. U'll have to wait for blu-ray prices to go down or sony will have to get rid of blu-ray

I'll be getting one eventually, and Aaron (brother) shall be getting a Xbox 360 eventually. I don't know about Aaron, but I'm happy with waiting a few years before I get the PS3. If he gets it before I do then good on him =P

Tbh, lately, I've been thinking that as I'm a student, and I'm not working till the summer, it's a waste of money for me. I want to keep my money, I'd much rather spend €600 on friends, family and my girlfriend over a year or two, rather than on myself for something that in all likelihood I won't use that much.

^ it has a rechargable battery and whenever u need to charge it u just plug it into a cable that connects to the usb slot of the ps3

Nice one Driver! I was at my mates last night playing the F1 game. I was impressed and even looked alright on his SD TV but he said "if you think that looks good you should see it running on a HD TV"

I like the price range of $5.00. But in reality, that won't happen. Probably when it hits $200, I might invest if and when it carries some sort of substantial game. Until then, no PS3 for me.

I Own one myself and i think it is the best of the three next gen systems. The only problem i have had with it is that it cost me out of the yang-yang. However, it is worth every dime. The other people that say the 360 or Wii is better are the people that are jelous that PS3 owners enjoy their systems more than them
