Damn You Evrae!!

Man i cant beat this guy no matter how much i try :mad: ..could anyone help me here....

you mean evrae in FFX? sorry if thats an obvious answer but i own all final fantasy games and dont remember all the monsters haha :D also there are 2 different Evraes one is dead in bottom of bevelle and one you fight ontop of the airship? or did i make that up :rolledeye

it says alot so ill put it in short,

HP: 32000 Fire 1/2 Lighting 1/2 Water 1/2 Holy 1/2

first off you need to use slow on him this gives you a better chance of moving the airship away from his "noxious poison cloud" if you cant move away in time use an al bhed potion :)

then you need to get close again and just keep hitting him, and keep moving towards and further from when he uses that gas attack, when he has only 1 third of his HP left he'l use haste so you need to use dispel if you have it, and he'l use an attack with his tail that hits all 3 party members, also make sure you have alot of softs as he can petrify with stone gaze.

LuLu can do some ok damage if she has Firaga, Thundaga etc.

Ok thanks but i cant try this now cos i wont be able to play ffx till monday.... :( but i would other people to help me too i need as much info as i can.

another thing I have to add is when you are close watch the bar on the side of the screen, cast hastega and keep using Quick hit untill it says that evrae's turn is next then move back. whenever you move back use the command with Tidus or Rikku to fire missle from the airship at Evrae...eventually you will beat him.

For the second time you fight him(battle is underwater) all you have to do is throw an X-potion at him(or use life), it will kill him instantly.you could use a pheonix down but it will always miss.

is this the evrae in FFX if so...
do you mean underwater or in the air?
AIR: when it inhales tell Cid to move back meanwhile cast Haste on your party but dont cast Slow on Evrae because it counters with Haste on itself.
work down its HP with magic or wakkas ball when far away and normal attacks when close.
UNDERWATER: just throw a Pheonix down at it. it will die one shot.
