Pokemon: Diamond Version
Gameplay
As like every pokemon game of its genre, the gameplay is the same. You get a starter pokemon, beat gym leaders, explore region, defeat the bad guys, and beat the Elite Four. With this game holds about 40 hours of gameplay. And with wifi, it is endless.
Overall Score:10
Sound
Like other pokemon game, you have alot of music. You have music for each town, route, riding a bike, in a cave, surfing, etc. At first it is ok but after 60 hours of playing you will most likely keep the volume off. And after 10 years they still keep the same pokemon noises as Red, Blue and Yellow days.
Overall Score:7.5
Graphics
Pokemon Diamond not only keeps its 2d art but implements a new 3d-ish look. Mix those two together and you get a pretty game. Battle simulation is relatively the same but the new moves animation's make it look good
Overall Score: 9
Multiplayer
First off like every pokemon games, people next to each other can battle however the link cables are gone. Due to the DS to DS connectivity, players play wirelessly. Also DS to DS allows players to play together in the Underground where you can search for gems, fossils, etc. Now comes to wifi. With Wifi you can trade to random people through the Global Trading Station. Also with the sharing of friend codes, you can battle and trade through wifi. Once you have beaten the Elite Four, you can then battle random ppl over wifi however your opponents are run by computer
Overall Score: 10
Overall Idea
We've been waiting over 2 years for this and it has been worth it. Playing over wifi will keep you playing until a new pokemon game comes out and even that may not do it.
Overall Score:9
What I think: A Must Buy
