Hey guys!
I got my ps2 chipped with a mars chip I believe..
So a while ago I wanted to play FF7 (for ps1 as anyone should know) on my chipped ps2, but I could clearly ''feel'' that it's frame rate during the game(in a battle for example) is less than on a regular ps1 (chipped or not). Does someone recognize this? It kinda sucks since FF7 on the PC has midi audio so I really want to play FF7 again on a console.
I think it's really strange since a ps2 game requires a lot more power of the console and my ps2 is running the ps2 games very well. So it's hard to believe that it isn't able to run such an old game smoothly in contrast to a game like final fantasy 10/12 and so on which runs perfect.
