As i cant seem to find one already i decided to make a (short) review of the PS3 game Motorstorm.
Motorstorm is a rally car game like none ive ever seen before.It is set in the desert and the only rules are:WIN at all costs...this means knocking people off their ATV or motorbike,shoving people into rocks and basically destroying them....there are no imaginary boundaries to stop you from falling off a cliff...if you aint careful....youre gone....the graphics are unreal.....wait scratch that.THEY ARE VERY REAL!!!
There are 7 types of vehicle classes each with their own advantage:
Motocross Bikes-Fast and Agile...Better on high ground
ATVs-Fast as the bike but not as agile...average mostly
Buggies-Fast and sturdy but not great at turning
Rally Cars-Fastest vehicle in the game but is vulnerable anywhere other than flat surfaces
Racing trucks-More of a jeep,this vehicle is sturdy can handle some mud but has very bad acceleration
Mudplugger-Mud is its strong point..is fast but gets damaged easily
Big Rig-This can handle mud and can smash through obstacles and cars....now its speed you gotta worry about
There are 21 tickets in all...Each containing 1-4 races each race you win or run-up you get points.Points are tolled up and when you get a certain amount of points you are awarded with a new vehicle in a certain class or a new ticket to race.
Tips:Some personal tips from me:
If youre on a Bike or ATV and another Bike/ATV comes close beside you press L1(if youre controls are set to Default 2) and youll knock them off!!!
If you need speed but dont wanna heat up youre boost, tap boost rapidly and youll go faster without heating up the gauge
In lighter vehicles go for higher ground and in heavy vehicles stay low!!!
