Problems with Harry Potter

I have problems with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I have searched the forums and have not found this item yet.

Quite often, when I throw the Flipendo spell, I get stuck facing one direction and can't get around to things that I need to get too. It's like I am stuck in duel mode. How the heck do I get out of that?! It's driving me nuts! My son keeps coming in asking for help with it and the only way I have found to get out of that mode is to quit the game and come back. Totally sucks!!!

Okay, I have not played the game on the Xbox, but I shall make an attempt to help. I shall list three ways in an attempt to help.

1. Your son could be moving the ****og stick [If there's one on the controller; I'm not completely familiar with the Xbox controllers.] at the same time as casting the spell which could be making the game freeze up. Try to reset it.
2. If you are in duel mode [I believe there is dueling in Chamber of Secrets; I haven't played it in ages. If Lockhart is the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, though, then there should be dueling.], you must beat the witch/wizard you are dueling before you can exit duel mode.
3. It's a glitch in the game. [I will check on this on the main site. If it is a glitch, it could be listed on the main site.]

EDIT: I have just looked on the main site, and I do not see anything about it being a glitch... It could be one of the other two options though.
