welll im guessing covenant and humans.

i think it might be similiar to Command and conquer 3 but just a lil better.
these might be the teams
Marines
Spartans (since they are still there)
Covenant
Brutes
The flood(maybe)

no flood or brutes, and UNSC instead of marines and spartans (which incorporates both)

flood is only on the halos/heretic station

and brutes are 'adopted' into the covenant a bit before halo 2

yea but the covenant leaders are more with the brutes then the elites. maybe they could play a small part like the scain

but halo wars takes place before halo 1, like in the Fall of Reach era. brutes werent part of the covenant til after halo 1

iv read Halo The Fall of Reach and Halo The Flood which are good iv just got to read Halo First Strike and Halo Ghosts of Onyx and Halo Contact Harvest will be on shelves by Fall 2007

I used to play Warcraft 3 which is the same gametype as this so this game will be on my list

theyve released a demonstration video of how it plays in xbox live marketplace, its about 500mb so youll probably have to delete something, but its worth it.
it shows the starting cutscene and what looks like the first level

btw its the covenant vs the UNSC (humans and spartans)
its set just before the first halo game aswell ;) :D

cant wait!!!

aparently i was wrong. the brutes are already in the covenant according to contact harvest, which doesnt make sense as in halo 2 (i think) or the First Strike book they say that they were only recently brought in. oh well. i cant wait! only about 7 months go xD
