Half LIfe 2...... help!!!

Hi there- I need help 'cos I'm well stuck on Half Life 2. I am in Route K****. I have got to a chamber half full of water with pipes all over the place. I need to go into the next chamber but there are iron bars blocking me. I have turned a wheel and the water level has gone up... this didn't help. I have looked around under the water. There are iron bars blocking my way at the bottom too. I have shot up some boxes in the next chamber and the pieces floated to the top. I can't find a way through. Any ideas please?

Ohh! I know which part you mean, I just can't remember how you do it...

Allow me to fetch my official guide :P

Okay, you've raised the water level...okay, what you need to do is swim to the ladder and go back to the first chamber you were in. In here, you should face a bunch of Manhacks...after you've gotten rid of them, you need to:

Drop from the balcony to the grated flooring. The area under the floor is now filled with water. Go down the ladder and turn around to swim through the tube tunnel.

This should get you out of the area. :)

Btw, someone might wanna move this to the Half-Life section...?
